Mac Bailey brings a wealth of experience and a formidable track record to her role as a trainer at On Deck. A distinguished student-athlete attending Carson-Newman, Mac Bailey's collegiate softball journey has been nothing short of spectacular.
During her college tenure, Mac's prowess on the field is evident through numerous accolades. As an All-South Atlantic Conference (SAC) First Team Designated Player, Mac showcased her exceptional skills. Her performance earned her a spot on the SAC All-Tournament Team, a testament to her ability to shine in high-stakes situations. Notably, Mac was honored as the SAC Player of the Year and SAC Freshman of the Year, underscoring her impact from the beginning.
Mac's excellence extended beyond conference recognition to national acclaim. She secured positions on the D2CAA All-Region and NFCA All-Region First Teams as a Designated Player. Her outstanding achievements continued with a Second Team All-America nod from D2CCA, followed by a prestigious First Team All-America selection by NFCA—a testament to her consistent brilliance on the diamond.
Being named to the Tucci/NFCA Player of the Year Watch List highlighted Mac's standing among the nation's top players. Her exceptional freshman year was recognized with the Tucci/NFCA National Freshman of the Year award, solidifying her status as a rising star in collegiate softball.
Before her collegiate journey, Mac Bailey made a significant impact at Station Camp High School. Under the guidance of coach Ken Crook, she earned four-time all-district and all-state selections. Mac's prolific bat was evident as she slugged an impressive 123 home runs during her high school career. Her achievements led the Bison to a district title in 2021, adding another feather to her illustrious cap.
